THE RAPPO & DEACS FRIDAY FIX
Here’s a quick summary of what’s in the latest Rappo & Deacs Friday Fix
With the news earlier in the week that Morwenstow had decided to pull their first team out of the St Piran League’s East Division, we hear from Will Bryant who has been with the club since a teenager, and he explains the current situation at the club.
Regular listeners to the weekly podcast, which by the way comes out very early every Friday morning, will know that each week Cam Weldon gives us a run through of results and fixtures for Truro City, Phil Hiscox is the secretary of the South West Peninsula League, and we travel with him through his week of administration and matches, those he’s watched as well as the ones he’s planning to be at. And then there is Jon Colenzo who is our man in the East of the county and keeps us up to date with firstly the East Division of the St Piran League and as importantly the East Cornwall Premier League.
As well as Will, there’s a smattering of other guests in each week’s podcast and this week they are all managers, but all three are from different leagues!
Matt Cusack gives the podcast a progress report on how he feels things are going at Western League Premier Division side Helston Athletic, we return to Launceston to congratulate manager Neil Price on the Clarets’ first win of the season and from the Cornwall Combination League, we go to the far west of the county to find out what’s happening at Pendeen Rovers.
This season Gary Hocking is keeping us up to date with the Womens’ football scene, while finally, Rappo gives one of the best detailed round-ups of the remaining Saturday leagues. That’s results, goalscorers and fixtures coming up. Don’t miss it!
